Brian A. Martin

Originally from North Carolina, Brian has been practicing law in the upstate of South Carolina since graduating from Campbell Law School in 1995. After residing and working in both Spartanburg and Greenville, he settled with his family in Greer in January of 2004 and has been a fixture of this community ever since. He is licensed to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the United States District Court. Having obtained a wide array of experience, Brian’s areas of practice are quite broad, allowing him to service the legal needs of any of his clients. Although his primary focus is in real estate, he helps clients in everything from small claims to major litigation, business startups to worldwide corporate joint ventures, simple wills to comprehensive estate  plans and everything in between.

Aside from the practice of law, Brian has served extensively in the Greater Greer Community in many leadership roles such as Chairman of the Board for the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board for the Partnership for Tomorrow, Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Greer Development Corporation, Chairman of the Board of Greer Relief and Resource Agency, the Greer Sertoma Club, the City of Greer Planning Commission, and many others. For all of his volunteer efforts and contributions to the Greater Greer Community, he was awarded the 2012 Outstanding Leadership Award, the 2015 Community Champion Award, the 2016 Mayor’s Award, and most recently in 2018, the prestigious Senator J. Verne Smith Award.

Brian is married to his high school sweetheart, Betsy Potter, and they have two daughters. Together, Brian and Betsy have helped usher in the revitalization of Downtown Greer with the purchase and renovation of the Historic Bailes Collins Department Store, next door to our office, into the Lofts @ Greer Station, a downtown residential community.
